Call for Volunteers! Voter Registration Event on June 29th
This spring MassVOTE and the Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee
Advocacy Coalition (MIRA) have registered hundreds of new Americans to
vote. There is an opportunity to register thousands.
On June 29th, 12 noon at the Seaport World Trade Center 2,500
foreign-born residents will become new Americans.
We have seen people becoming naturalized U.S. citizens from every corner of the world, all ages, some have waited for over 30 years for this moment. We will be
at this naturalization ceremony, ready to register them to vote.
With so many new citizens at the ceremony we need as many volunteers
as possible to make sure every person has an opportunity to register
to vote. Be part of this exciting moment to register 2,500 new Americans to
