Ranked Choice Voting Lobby Day
In most elections today, you pick one candidate. With Ranked Choice Voting, you can rank multiple candidates in the order you prefer them — 1st choice, 2nd choice, 3rd choice, and so on. If your 1st choice can’t win, your vote instantly counts toward your backup choice.

About the event
On Tuesday, July 16, hundreds of supporters from across the Commonwealth will mobilize for Ranked Choice Voting Lobby Day.
Two bills are currently working their way through the State House. We need supporters like you to show Beacon Hill that Massachusetts is #ReadyToRank.
At #RCVLobbyDay, you'll have the chance to:
- Visit your State Senator and Representative's offices to tell them why you support RCV - Hear remarks from superstar supporters in the State House and across the Commonwealth - Participate in a mock ranked choice voting election to see RCV in action!
No lobbying experience is required! We'll train you and provide everything you need to effectively lobby for RCV. Refreshments will be provided.
